October, Spooks, Pumpkins and Spice

This month has been a fun time seeing all the variations of ALTERED BOXES.   Thanks to the team for inspiring us all.

We are ready for November for several reasons.

We will be offering Team art for the Holidays, all the November and December holidays.   Get your turkey, your dreidel, Santa hat and noisemaker ready for your creative workout!   Send a photo of YOU in your ugly sweater or Holiday hat to receive 6 free collages.   Add it to our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/AlteredPagesArtsociates/

There will be festivities because...
November
marks AlteredPages 6th anniversary!
Gonna be '6' styled giveaways and offers, so stay tuned!

AND we launch our new website as of November 1, 2016.

Here is an offer to get you going on your holiday projects.   When you buy select  Holiday papers you will receive either a yard of coordinating ribbon or a foot of snazzy bling.  A perfect addition to your cards and notes.

Join our team on this blog and on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google plus as we show off the talents of our Fabulous Designers and their art.

PLEASE send us your ATCs and we will continue to post them, see the link on the top toolbar for info.   We will be announcing prizes next Sunday for the month of October ATCs.

Handy Tip for Artists, Recyclers and Neat Freaks! I have a follow-up to the Citra-Sol method for creating fabulous background pages and collages.   I bought a big bag of navel oranges and realized I had the ingredients to make my own solvent!   Simply take a clean glass jar, peel the rind from the oranges and place all the rind/peels, without the pulp (tangerines, oranges, navels) into the jar.   Pour enough vinegar over the peels to cover them.    Allow the jar to sit for a week or two and VOILA!     You have made your own solvent for literally pennies.    You will notice the liquid getting a bit thicker than the plain vinegar and it does not smell bad!!! I now have a  HUGE jar on the window sill!       Be careful and only use this after testing on a safe spot.
