MailArt and Teacups and Tiaras is the theme we have all been playing along with this month whilst cross promoting with Unruly PaperArts.
For my post today I was inspired by the orient and traditional tea ceremonies. My postcard started with me cutting out two images from the Tea Party Collage Sheet AP-518.
I also used some oriental text and an image from the Oriental Backgrounds Collage Sheet. To add color to my background I used some Fire Brick Distress Stain and my cherry blossom border strips were punched out from some left over Gelli Prints. To finish I added a lucky coin from my stash and some Havana Brown Seam Binding which is also available at Altered Pages.
Will you be joining us next Tuesday for our Trending Tuesday Post?
The team at Altered Pages were also kindly given some chipboard diecuts to play with for our projects his month from the Leaky Shed. They have this fabulous Tea Cup & Saucer which I decided to paint Green for part of my Trending Tuesday Project this month. After painting it with one coat of Acrylic Paint I then added a few extra touches of ink and paper.
My two photos above may have given you an idea of where the theme of my Trending Tuesdays Project is going but you will have to wait until then to see the project in full along with all the other wonderful projects from the team.
Until then Happy Creating!
Danie xx

I then teamed this with a large Eyelet Envelope which I die cut from Papers from the Alice's Utterly Mad Party Mailbox Muse Kit.
