I’ve been a card-maker since 1996, I’ve always had arts & crafts in my life.  When I was a kid my mom had us recycle last year’s Christmas cards into our own to send out and into our own gift tags.  We cut all of the images out and made our own scenes onto blank cards.  In school and in Girl Scouts I started making my own stationery and I added rubber stamps and other mediums like markers, paint & stencils.  Although I'm always looking for new ways to be creative, I still consider myself to be mainly a card maker.  I enjoy sending pretty mail out into the world.  But I have really enjoyed the 3D mixed media projects I've made in the last year, too.

I have a wonderfully supportive husband who appreciates that I have a hobby that I love.  He enjoys seeing the cards and other things I have made and has put in some special requests for his friends and family.  He never ever complains when I drag him to the local craft stores and has even volunteered to go with me to our local convention when I thought my cousin wasn’t going to be able to join me.   (She did and he was let off the hook.)  We don’t have kids so when there is down-time I spend it at my craft table.  No video camera yet…maybe some day.
