My Post today is not artful,
It's more of a Tribute than a blog post.
My daughter made friends with a hairdresser she had found who was wonderful. She often talked about her in a glowing way. Not only was she a great hairdresser, she was a great friend, wife, mother and only 41 years old when she was found to have a rare cancer.
She was the sort of person that lit up a room and made people smile. This gal fought a valiant fight and had every bit of faith and courage to beat this crappy disease. She has two children and a husband who were in her background fighting with her. Her hair salon had fundraisers and events to celebrate her successes. She just got word there was a brand new treatment and they were going to start it soon.
Monica Feltes French
Yesterday Monica found her peace. No longer fighting.
I shared this for several reasons, to honor a wonderful woman, to get my sadness out, (she was my daughters age, also with 2 children) but most importantly..............
PLEASE HUG YOUR LOVED ONES EVERY DAY.
Call them if far away, DO NOT WAIT.
MAKE SURE TO GET REGULAR CHECKUPS and insist that your Doctor orders tests such as mammograms, colonoscopies and pap tests. YOUNG or OLD.
Be well and be Happy, Jean
