Hey there! Becky here today to share my FIRST video!
Have you played with a Gelli Plate yet?
If not, you've got to get one!
They are so fantastic for making your own background papers for cards, journalling, doodling - whatever!!!
I have to admit though, sometimes it intimidates me!
All the layering can sometimes turn into mud or chaos for me!
Don't get me wrong! I can layer & texture to my hearts content with fingers & brushes on paper & canvas! BUT, for some reason my Gelli's aren't so fabulous!
I know, I know..."practice makes perfect!"
One of the ways I like to use my Gelli is to just a simple mish-mash of colors...
I simply squirted my colors onto the Gelli in a random pattern, rolled w/a brayer & pressed my papers into it. Then I started doodling with a paint pen to make these crazy flowers! I'll throw this one into a journal & play some more with it later.
I also did this one the traditional way, but the video didn't turn out, so you just get the picture on it! LOL!
That's it for today!
Hope you enjoyed my simple video! {Hopefully more detailed ones to come!}
Cheers!
