Is that Darn Groundhog right or wrong?

We have been hearing about all sorts of weather, some warm but it seems more cold and SNOWY!
No matter which you are experiencing we hope each day is artful and creative for you.

I spent most of Friday making stencils for the newest Mailbox Muse Kit Collection.  An awesome original image for you to use on many projects. We are endeavoring to take it up a notch on the kit contents and hope everyone who is a member will enjoy getting a stencil and a sponge for applying paint or ink.

Speaking of Members - get signed up this week as a Mailbox Muse Member and receive a bonus in your kit.  We will add an ink pad from Maya Road to your Serengeti Sunrise Spring Collection Kit.  Get your membership here

Make sure to visit our Design Team Blogs and see what they are creating for the AP Challenges.   The Red and Gold challenge has brought some truly wonderful projects to the blog.   I am always amazed at the diversity of work.

Happy Presidents Day to everyone, Thanks George, Tom and all the rest!

Handy Tip for Artists, Recyclers and Neat Freaks! I have a follow-up to the Citra-Sol method for creating fabulous background pages and collages.   I bought a big bag of navel oranges and realized I had the ingredients to make my own solvent!   Simply take a clean glass jar, peel the rind from the oranges and place all the rind/peels, without the pulp (tangerines, oranges, navels) into the jar.   Pour enough vinegar over the peels to cover them.    Allow the jar to sit for a week or two and VOILA!     You have made your own solvent for literally pennies.    You will notice the liquid getting a bit thicker than the plain vinegar and it does not smell bad!!! I now have a  HUGE jar on the window sill!       Be careful and only use this after testing on a safe spot.
