Well, I stopped looking at the computer screen, put on a bathing suit (OMGOSH) and paddled around the pool for an hour, but even then I was multitasking by making phone calls to family and friends.
As soon as I get away from my desk again today I will be making some fabulouso Gelli Prints which I will then die cut with the Fantastic Revolution Machine. I am participating in the Inchies Trade produced by Jane Eileen at the Art Unraveled event.
Yesterday was Miss Gabriella's Birthday - Man o Man - there is always that new great thing the kids have to have and her thing is Monster High, a line of dolls and all the accessories you can imagine. It does seemto have humor and a good underlying theme. Some of the Monsters are Cleo Denile, Frankie Stein, Clawdeen, and more. They have taken a pledge to stop bullies from hurting people.
I was happy to save $5.00 for a "Monster High" Birthday card by making my own. I found images of the Monster dolls online, added them to cardstock, added some die cut items and created an inside page of bordered parchment paper for the sentiment. It was pretty cool if I do say so! Forgot to get a photo before the party, Darn!
