Wow. My first post on the Altered Pages blog. I just figured out I could actually post here without having to do anything more than log in to Blogspot. And here I thought I had to go somewhere special and I just didn't know where.
Anyway...moving along. I'm Michelle, one of the Altered Pages design team. One of my favorite things about Altered Pages is the versatility of the images. There are images for every subject, every theme, and it seems no matter what I'm creating, I open my (very full) binder of AP collage sheets and there is something there that I can use.
I recently joined a swap for cigar boxes and this is what I made. My apologies for the bad picture. The tiles were a closer match of red than it shows here. But the important thing is I filled frames with Altered Pages images. There are two more frames with AP collage images inside the cigar box. The children with fairy wings are some of my favorite of all. I seem to use them in so many projects.
I encourage anyone who really loves vintage pictures to go to Altered Pages and look through the vast collection of collage sheets. There is quite a selection and there is something to go with anything anyone might ever think to do.
So there is my introductory piece on my introductory post. I hope everyone enjoys the art they find on the Altered Pages blog!
