Marie Antoinette Falls for Halloween

Hi everyone! It's me,  Tonya .  It is hard to believe that fall and cooler weather is right around the corner but I am here to share some rolodex cards using some Halloween and Fall printables  with Marie Antoinette thrown in for fun and some leftover cardstock from previous Mailbox Muse kits. Everything that was used to create these rolodex cards are listed below in the supply list. For the first rolodex card I fussy cut one of the Marie Antoinette, jack-o-lantern and butterfly wings. I adhered the butterfly wings to the back of Marie and then glued the jack-o-lantern in Marie's hand. I added black thread to the back before I adhered to the card. For the rolodex card I used a diecut and leftover cardstock from a few of my Mailbox Muse kits. You can also use rolodex cards that you can buy at your local office supply place and alter with cardstock. I also added a little St...

Autumn Splendour Tour

I've always wanted to take the train somewhere.  Anywhere, really.  I just love the thought of looking out the windows and watching the countryside go by.  Since I live in Michigan, the ultimate for me would be to take the fall color tour.  Yep, that's definitely on my bucket list!  Here's a quick card I made to celebrate the wonderful colors of fall using an absolutely beautiful collage sheet from Altered Pages .      The instant photo frame here happens to be a stamp from my collection, but you can make a die cut frame quite easily.  Or better yet, take an old blurry instant photo and pop the original picture out and use the frame! Products used: Colors in New England collage sheet Train Travel Days collage sheet Fall Splendor collage sheet Mailbox Muse Orient Express train stamp And a bonus project!  I made this card for my husband, who is a big car guy!  I used images from the Route 66 collage sheet . ...

Halloween Wreath

I am so excited about Halloween. I don’t really do much for the day but love to make fun stuff to enjoy it. I love using stuff that normally would have been thrown away. Yes my husband is always chiding me about my hoarder ways. I saw this “craft” paper packing and how to save it for something..It worked fabulously with this project. I want to remind all that there is no glue holding the paper to the wire. I used only the chalk paint to make it stay. It is very sturdy. I love all of the great supplies that AlteredPages has. These items help my imagination soar. I also found by using the little Pots I am more organized…FEAR, FEAR of organization…that really scares me. I hope you enjoy my post!   Supply list: Wire Hanger Craft paper or newpaper cut into squares 5 x 5 DecoArt Chalk Paint  (Carbon Black) Paper plate or tray for painting Brushes (one for painting and a toothbrush for splattering) Metallic paint (on hand) gloves (optional) glitter...
